This weekend we took part in a volleyball tournament where the results were… consistent: we lost all our games. BUT—don’t let that fool you. We played well, challenged every team we faced, and improved noticeably from match to match. The other teams were clearly more experienced, which made the games tough, fast, and honestly pretty motivating.
Most importantly, we had a great time. There was a lot of laughing, encouraging shouts, post-game analysis that may or may not have been very scientific, and some serious team bonding. We left the tournament more confident, more connected, and with a clearer sense of how much we’re developing as a team.
So while we didn’t bring home trophies, we definitely brought home experience, progress, and a stronger team spirit—which feels like a pretty big win to us
